STATE YOUTH COMMITTEE MISSION STATEMENT

As Knights of Columbus, it is our responsibility to provide youth with the means and opportunities to become personally committed and involved in meeting the challenges of our times. Yet, despite their commitments and dedication, the youth of the world are often condemned because of the uncontrolled actions of a minority of young people. Today's YOUTH, the real leaders of tomorrow, are looking for a challenge. They are looking for responsibility. They are looking for faith and trust.

Our aim, therefore, is to become more involved with, and exert more positive and constructive influence on, our young people. To do this we must continue to provide entertaining activities that will stimulate them physically, mentally and spiritually. We must constantly improve our youth programs so that these young people will be properly prepared to accept the challenges ahead, and become the leaders that tomorrow's world will look toward.
