SUBSTANCE ABUSE AWARENESS POSTER CONTEST

ALL COUNCILS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SUBSTANCE (DRUG & ALCOHOL) ABUSE AND AWARENESS POSTER CONTEST.

This very easy, and rewarding, program has been growing very slowly over the past several years throughout the State. Children do not need to have exceptional skills to excel in this contest and all should be urged to compete. Councils should coordinate this activity with their local schools, both private and public, as it encourages awareness of the abuses of both alcohol and drugs.

The form for the Poster Contest Kit can be found in the Council Forms Booklet, or can be obtained on the Supreme Council website. Select "D&A Poster Contest" for Supreme's information

Competition levels will be the same as the Free Throw with the exception of the Regional level, which is eliminated. Local councils should provide prizes for their winners.
