Vivat Jesus!
There is much work to be done. We have some wonderful and dedicated men to assist us as we strive to achieve our goals. There have been a number of changes that you should be aware. New York now has 12 Pro-Life Vice Chairman and 12 Catholic Family Vice Chairman. Our Pro-Life Chairman will be working very closely with his Vice Chairmen to continue the great strides we have made promoting Pro-Life issues. Our Catholic Family Vice Chairman will be working with all other State Chairmen under Catholic Family - they will be a tremendous help to our Vocations, Family Life, Catholic Advocacy, Evangelization, Church Activities, Decent Media, Family of the Year, Project Rachel and Legislative State Chairmen.
Working closely with our Bishops and our Priests we would like to see a Pro-Life Mass and a Living Rosary in all 12 areas of our great State.
We look forward to an even closer working relationship with our New York State Catholic Conference and with our Bishops throughout New York.
Our annual Prayer Rally is in the very capable hands of Bill "The Colonel" Ose, PSW. He is working hard and needs everyone's help promoting this very important and very visible program. We need to double our efforts and show our support. It is very important for us to make this pilgrimage to Albany and visibly show support of our Church, our Religion and the Catholic viewpoint on the issues of the day. We are planning to actively support the New York State Catholic conference Public Policy Day held in March. We would also like to have advocates visit Albany several times a year supporting our Church and our Religion.
We will also be spreading the word concerning Fathers for Good and Project Moses - so be ready!
We need to keep in mind that God has placed us all here. He has placed us here together at this time and in this place. We must recognize this wonderful gift and this wonderful opportunity. It is our time - our time to pray together, our time to work together, our time to make a difference. While at Mass I heard one of our very gifted Priests say " we must have an Attitude of Gratitude". I was moved by this statement and with the way he delivered it. We must have an Attitude of Gratitude and understand and appreciate all the wonderful gifts we have been given including the gift of membership in our order, the gift of fraternity and the strength that we have when we work together.
Very interested in your ideas and opinions - I look forward to hearing from you..
Working together we will have a great year - I look forward to it!
